Garden Sculpture at the Moncrieff-Bray GalleryThe Moncreiff-Bray Gallery in Petworth is to host it’s Annual Summer Exhibition from 18th May to 22nd June 2013.

The annual summer exhibition of paintings and sculpture for gardens will present the work of 12 artists and 14 sculptors exhibited in the spectacular 120 square metre converted Sussex barn and it’s stunning surrounding landscaped gardens with stunning views over the South Downs. (more…)

The Leconfield Singers look forward to welcoming you to their first summer concert in the stunning gardens of Hawkhurst Court, Wisborough Green on Saturday 29th June 2013.

The Petworth-based choir will also be joined by the internationally acclaimed soloists Gail Pearson (Soprano) and Dyfed Wyn Evans (Baritone) with Joanna Kent accompanying on piano conducted by Musical Director Graham Wili. The evening’s programme will feature a mix of both classical and modern choral music with something for everyone including popular opera choruses and arias, traditional and new folksongs, a selection from ‘My Fair Lady’ and some popular songs from more recent times. A Champage reception was held at the Leconfield Restaurant on Thursday 18th April to celebrate the launch of National Antiques Week, which this year ran from 23rd to 28th April 2013.

Antiques Roadshow presenter and gallery owner Lennox Cato made a special guest appearance as a speaker at the event alongside Petworth Antique dealers, local shop owners and their guests. Lennox is a member of BADA and LAPADA and as well as being a regular presenter on the BBC’s Antiques Road Show he runs his own gallery and often exhibits at major antiques fairs. (more…)

The Badgers Inn are doing their Annual Charity run on Sunday 7th April to raise money for sports equipment for Fittleworth School. Last year they raised £900 for the school and this year they would like to do better. Please support them! (more…)
